Our most intensive level of care provides crisis stabilization for children and adolescents in a safe and therapeutic environment. An average hospital stay is 6-7 days, during which time a patient receives around-the-clock nursing care and intensive clinical interventions from a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Each patient receives an individualized treatment plan that may include individual, group and family therapy, as well as medication management.
Partial Hospitalization Program
Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers intensive, psychotherapeutic treatment in a less restrictive setting than inpatient care. Offered in two locations, the Brook Lane campus and in Frederick beside Laurel Hall School, PHP allows a child or adolescent to attend a structured therapeutic program during the day and return home each evening. The average stay at PHP is approximately one week.
Upon admission to the PHP, individuals receive a thorough assessment of their psychiatric and behavioral needs. Personalized treatment plans may include individual, group and family therapy, as well as medication management. Multi-disciplinary treatment teams meet regularly to review and modify treatment plans.
Outpatient treatment offers support, guidance and intervention. These services include individual therapy, family therapy, addictions counseling, psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Our treatment staff includes psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed social workers and licensed professional counselors.
