Family Planning and Sexual Health services are provided to reduce unintended pregnancies and improve pregnancy outcomes by offering comprehensive, quality services for males and females of reproductive age. These services are offered in Oakland, Grantsville, and Frostburg Maryland.
Our providers, Heather Cooper, a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner and Jennifer Lee-Steckman, a Certified Nurse-Midwife have years of experience, specializing in listening to and caring for women from adolescence to beyond menopause. They practice under the philosophy that events in a woman’s life, including sexuality, family planning, pregnancy, and menopause are normal occurrences in life. Their fundamental belief is that their roles are to educate and support women in their decision making during these life occurrences. They attempt to treat all as if they were family or friends under the assumption that we are all equal.
