This program provides cancer screening for colorectal and skin cancer at no cost to the client. To be eligible for screening you must:
- Be a Garrett County resident.
- Be uninsured or under-insured
- meet income guidelines.
Diagnostic testing may also be covered. This would include a skin lesion biopsy and diagnostic testing for Prostate Cancer. To be eligible for diagnostic testing you must:
- Be a Garrett County resident
- Be age 19 or over
- Be uninsured or under-insured
- meet income guidelines
- Have a referral from a Health Care Provider.
If interested please call the Garrett County Health Department to schedule your intake appointment. At that time paperwork will be completed and information will be collected regarding income and current address. We can also schedule your appointments for you.
