After the historical walk in Oakland as mentioned in the Walk2Connect flyer, there will be a free training for anyone who is interested in learning about being a walking leader and forming a walking group in their community or work place.

Walk2Connect (525.9k)
Upcoming walks in Garrett County hosted by Walk2Connect and the Health Department. The walks are for all ages and all fitness levels. A one mile walk will be held at the WISP to learn about all the activities WISP has to offer in all seasons. A three mile historical walk will be held in Oakland and a glow in the dark walk will take place on the river bank in Kitzmiller. All of these walks are free and open to the public. In addition there will be a Walking Movement Leader Training for individuals who are interested in forming a walking group. See the attached flyer for more details.
