This complex is located in Lonaconing, Maryland six miles from Frostburg State University and is approximately ten miles from Cumberland, Maryland. Lana Lu is nestled in the mountains of the western part of the state. All conveniences are within walking distance from the property. Lana Lu is a secure building and has three stories serviced by an elevator. Transportation for the tenants is provided by the senior center, along with a transit bus that runs every Tuesday making stops at the mall in LaVale, MD and several other small towns along state highway #36. There is also ample parking for those tenants who have automobiles. Many activities, outings, and meals are provided by the senior center and the public Skiing, boating, fishing, and state parks/lands are within 35 minutes of the property. Located in the same building as the senior center is the adult day care center which provides many services for our disabled tenants.
