Blood Pressure Monitoring
Public Group active %sThe prevalence of heart disease in Garrett County is high and residents of all ages need to know their risks and how to prevent a cardiovascular event. The goal is to make people aware of the importance of knowing their blood pressure numbers and the consequences of untreated hypertension. Those already diagnosed with high blood pressure are encouraged to take their medications as prescribed and continue to make healthy lifestyle changes. Individuals identified with potentially undiagnosed hypertension are encouraged to follow up with their health care provider.
