In FY20, before we began personalization of our promotion efforts, we served a total of 46 Garrett County residents. In FY21, after beginning an increase in promotion of the Quit Now efforts, we served a total of 65 residents.
In FY20 (before QI) 9/46 were referred by health department staff and 5/46 from medical providers. In FY21 (beginning of QI) 16/65 were referred by health department staff and 11/65 from medical providers. This indicates that the change idea demonstrated some success and should continue.
Expanding promotional efforts to include more divisions of GCHD and more providers’ offices (such as dental offices and pharmacies).
Efforts to increase tobacco prevention education and awareness on social media are not resulting in user engagement.
Increase engagement in KickingTobacco social media.
