Medication Assisted Treatment

Public Group active %s

Garrett County has only one local provider of medication assisted treatment who works closely with the GCHD. Providers outside of the county do not typically require patients to be in supportive therapy which is less effective, often leads to diversion and relapse. By providing a highly integrative system of treatment we will be able to reduce drug overdoses and improve treatment outcomes such as lowering incarceration rates, lower health care spending and increase employment for patients in the MAT program.
