  • The Garrett County Local Behavioral Health Authority (GCLBHA) will submit a Fiscal Year 2027 Crisis Response Grant Program application to the Maryland Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) by October 24, 2025. The GCLBHA is requesting information from interested service providers who currently provide/are interested in providing the following prioritized behavioral health crisis services in FY 2027 (beginning July 1, 2026). The prioritized behavioral health crisis services were selected to include in the application from reviewing the Garrett County Community Health Assessment; Garrett County Local Behavioral Health Authority Strategic Implementation Plan; Garrett County Local Management Board Community Health Assessment; and the Crisis Response Grant information meeting:
    Mobile Response Team (MRT) – provide services for Garrett County only or for Garrett County and Allegany County together
    Stabilization Services for Children, Adolescents & Caregivers (SS-CAC) – provide services for Garrett County and Allegany County together
    Urgent Care Appointments – provide services for Garrett County only
    Urgent Care Walk-Ins – provide services for Garrett County only
    *Please see the attached Appendix A and Appendix B for more information on the prioritized services.
    Service providers should indicate their interest by completing the Google Form linked below by 5pm on October 15, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered. Interested service providers will also be required to complete the attached Budget Form 4542 to be considered by the GCLBHA in this grant application.

    The GCLBHA will provide more information to interested service providers following BHA’s guidance and/or approval of the FY 2027 Crisis Response Grant application.
    A public informational session was held by the GCLBHA on Friday, September 26, 2025 to review the FY 2027 Crisis Response Grant Program. A recording of that meeting is available here.
