For more than 20 years, the Children’s Cabinet, the Governor’s Office for Children (GOC), and other child-serving agencies have utilized the Results-Based Accountability™ framework to focus planning, decision-making, and budgeting on desired outcomes. As part of the adoption of Results-Based Accountability, an interagency workgroup proposed and the Children’s Cabinet adopted, a set of eight Results that describe the general well-being of Maryland’s children and families. We measure progress in realizing these Results by tracking quantifiable proxies for success called Indicators. To learn more about the Results and Indicators, go to: Maryland Results for Child Well-Being

It’s been more than 10 years since the Results and Indicators were last reviewed and much has happened in that time. In June of 2019, GOC convened another interagency workgroup to review and consider if any changes should be made to the current set of Results and Indicators and to make recommendations to the Children’s Cabinet. As the work of this group comes to a close, they are interested in feedback to help decide which of these Indicators – or data points – are most important in measuring well-being in Maryland.

Below is a link to a survey that should take no more than 5 minutes to complete, and the answers you provide are private:
