Garrett County will be receiving $71,273.19 which is the lowest in the State. The reason is that we had the fewest overdoses of any Maryland jurisdictions over the past 5 years. Let’s work together to keep it that way.

Narcan also known as Naloxone is now available in participating pharmacies without a prescription. Be sure to receive training in the use of Narcan. In Garrett County you can also get Narcan through the Health Department by participating in a brief training. Call 301-334-7730 to sign up for the next training.
