Data Narrative

All counts, unless stated as "Total," are reported as individual monthly counts. Data Dictionary: GA = Google Analytics Reported Measure; PHLC Users = Completed User Registration Profiles; PHLC Students Pledged = Number of Pledges Received Regardless of Profile Completion PHLC Users Registered will be archived beginning in 2019 as the system transitions out of the beta period and is reconfigured for broader scale applications. Total number of students that participate in PHLC is a sum of 9-12 grade students pledged + middle school and elementary school students that complete one or more PHLC challenges during the school year. All elementary students in Garrett County schools are eligible to earn gold, silver or bronze medals based on their completion of certain healthy lifestyle challenges: eating fruits and vegetables, being physically active, reducing screen time. If they complete all 3 challenges they are awarded a gold medal; 2 challenges = silver medal; 1 challenge=bronze medal. The challenges get a little bit harder with increasing grade level.
