Good afternoon Maryland Leaders,

I hope this email finds you well! My name is Folashade Epebinu and I am the Secretary of the Maryland Youth Advisory Council (MYAC). Our Council was established by the Maryland General Assembly in 2008 to ensure that young people in the State of Maryland can engage in the legislative and policy-making process by advocating for and with their peers.

For Fiscal Year 2025, the Council was allocated funding from the Maryland Children’s Cabinet to provide 5, $1,000 grants to youth-led organizations and projects across the state! Grants are provided to organizations that have a strong alignment to MYAC’s legislative priorities and entities that demonstrate commitment to ending child poverty and increasing economic mobility for young people.

We are having TWO virtual information sessions:

February 8th from 1:30 to 2:30 PM

February 13th from 6:00 to 6:00 PM
