Data Narrative
The Community Partnership Agreement (CPA) is developed by the Garrett County Local Management Board (GCLMB) to provide funding for community programs and strategies focused on serving children, youth, and families. Yearly CPA guidance, or the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) is typically released to Local Management Boards from the Governor’s Office for Children around March. The GCLMB convenes the Planning subcommittee of the GCLMB prior to the expected release of the NOFA to discuss local priorities and potential funding strategies. Upon the release of the NOFA, the GCLMB convenes community planning sessions, including public Local Management Board meetings which are posted monthly on the Garrett County Health Department’s website. The data shared on this group is focused on community engagement related to planning for the GCLMB’s CPA submission. CPA response submissions are developed for the upcoming Fiscal Year (July 1-June 30). In FY 2025, the FY 2026 CPA was developed. In FY 2025, (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025), Community Partnership Agreement Planning Sessions for FY 2026 funding were conducted on the following dates: March 4, 2025 - Closed Technical Assistance Session Hosted by GOC March 13, 2025 - Public Planning/Data Meeting #1 March 14, 2025 - Public Planning/Data Meeting #2 March 20, 2025 - Public LMB Meeting March 26, 2025 - Closed Information Session Hosted by GOC March 26, 2025 - LMB Executive Committee Meeting (to develop finalized funding recommendations for the full Board) April 7, 2025 - LMB Funding Discussion Meeting April 17, 2025 - Public LMB Meeting (Finalize FY 2026 Funding Decisions) For Fiscal Year 2027 Planning, the GCLMB Planning Subcommittee meetings will be held in the Fall/Winter of 2025 and public planning meetings will be announced in the Winter/Spring of 2026.
