Private on-site Sewage Disposal: A septic system is constructed for a home with no access to public sewage disposal. This office is responsible for every facet of the system from percolation testing to final installation inspection.
Well Permitting Program: Environmental Health is responsible for reviewing and approving wells for: Potable water supplies, Geothermal and Observation.
Air Quality: An air quality control permit, also known as burn permit, is something issued to an individual by the Department of Environmental Health. A burning permit is required for all open burning, except for small recreational fires such as campfires, for outdoor cooking of food and fires associated with agricultural practice.
