Flu Clinics Begin Thursday

Community Flu Clinics

The Garrett County Health Department reminds residents that flu vaccinations can reduce flu illnesses, doctors’ visits, missed work and school, as well as hospitalizations.

The first walk-in clinics schedule will be Thursday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at GCHD’s Oakland Office.

There will be no out-of-pocket costs the flu shot for anyone, regardless of insurance status, but insurance providers, including Medicare Part B, will be billed as appropriate.  Insurance cards should be brought to the clinic.
