I am excited to see this and I feel it will make a great impact on our community. I like the name of the new Alliance and the mission statement is very fitting, clearly expressing the goals of the group. As part of the Go Garrett County Group, I earn points for participating in healthy activities and last summer I redeemed many of those points for veggie boxes from Garrett Growers. I loved getting the veggie boxes, each one unique often with things that I had never tried before. It allowed my family to eat healthier and try new things, while also supporting the local farm community. I also appreciated that on Go Garrett County, videos and recipes were shared, giving us new ideas and ways to eat healthier while using locally grown food. That is a win/win and I am happy to see this Alliance forming to further that collaboration. Thank you!
