So far we have 14 providers signed up and there’s still time to spread the word. Combating diabetes and other diseases is a multipronged approach in our community. Working with our medical providers is one way we hope to increase referrals into the educational programming around diabetes. This is a grant-funded opportunity for healthcare providers to gain membership with the Obesity Medicine Association, enjoy highly informative continuing education courses, and join with other professionals to combat obesity in our community.
