    Great meeting today!
The Office of Population Health, Innovation & Informatics is coordinating the Mental Health Awareness campaign for all of our partners through the Health Planning Council’s Child & Adolescent Wellness Workgroup (this action group)

    Campaign Opportunities Include:
Display Table at the Farmer’s Market on May 1st- Contact Thomas Vose at the Ruth Enlow Library if you have materials for the table or you would like to have a physical presence that day.

Garrett County Public Schools has chosen May 7th to encourage all staff and students to wear green to support mental health awareness day. Each school will be participating uniquely in addition to wearing green.

Every Monday of May, we will be highlighting agencies, community groups, and businesses that want to participate by wearing green. Send your group photo to [email protected] for use on Go! Garrett County.

We will have specific social media content pieces for everyone to use on the same week throughout May. You can download the content from the DOC’s section of the action group https://mygarrettcounty.com/groups/increase-adolescent-well-child-checks/ by April 30th.

If you want your logo to appear as a participating agency, please send a transparent png file of your logo to [email protected] by April 16th.

Marketing efforts will incorporate a link to the Behavioral Health Provider Guide as it’s a central piece in helping our local community get in touch with providers for care.

Thank you for the interest and effort from so many of you for this important event.
