As of July 1, 2019, the Garrett County Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening Program has been regionalized.
What does this mean? Well, this means Allegany County Health Department has taken over the Western Maryland region (Garrett, Allegany, and Washington Counties). The only change for the participants will be, they will be contacted by Allegany County. Participants will still be able to use their own providers and determining eligibility will be completed over the phone.
