At the health planning council meeting on May 24, 2018 Commissioner Jim Hinebaugh raised the question about affordable housing in Garrett County. A discussion followed and the need to collect data around this issue is of great interest to the Health Planning Council. We spoke about different levels of need and homelessness was raised. It was an opportunity to educate HPC members and those in attendance of the Round table on Homelessness. It’s also a great time to add any data we do have about homelessness in Garrett County to this group to inform planning.
