Next week (April 21-28, 2018) is “National Infant Immunization Week”. Immunizations have the power to protect our little ones against many dangerous infections. We are grateful that today’s vaccines are safe and effective, and easy to obtain through a provider’s office or the health department. In years past, many children suffered long-lasting effects, and in some cases, death from these diseases, A dear friend of mine still suffers deafness from a childhood measles infection before vaccine was available. So, parents, get those precious ones in for their vaccines!
