Data Narrative

The Number of Physical Fitness Events Held: Target Goal 25 (annual) These are events specifically held through the CareFirst funding that is concentrated during the summer months. A variety of events are held with the purpose of increasing opportunities for fitness to work toward the goal identified in this group. The Number of People Served at Physical Fitness Events: Target Goal 100 (annual) - We count the individuals that participate in each event held. People Participating in Garrett County Physical Activity Pass Programs - Cumulative: We utilized the pass program to kick off initial programming in 2022 and opted to move passes into the Prize Shop on Go!GarrettCounty.com for participants to earn in 2023. Families Participating in Garrett County Physical Activity Pass Programs - Cumulative: Same as above Served Excluding Events Interactions Excluding Events By July 13th, 2022 we've almost hit our target goal of 100 people participating and we're just two weeks in! The weather has been phenomenal so we haven't had to cancel any outdoor activities. New people and familiar faces are attending, and most people are shocked the events are free. One month shy of a year later, we've hosted three events and are at 78 people served. People participating in fitness opportunities to make our community more active overall! Thanks, CareFirst!!!
