Data Narrative

The development of Goals, Objectives, Strategies, Performance Measures and Performance Targets for the FY 2024-2026 Garrett County Local Behavioral Health Authority Strategic Plan incorporates priority areas and outcomes from housing needs identified through the Garrett County Roundtable on Homelessness and the Garrett Workforce Housing Alliance. Additionally significant resource information has been obtained through the Garrett County Community Health Assessment, Garrett County Status of Health Report, and focused discussion topics related to access and affordability to rental properties for individuals and families experiencing barriers from Mental Health Advisory Committee, Drug-Free Communities Coalitions, and Stand Together. Measurement: Share grant fund opportunities with B.H. providers and organizations for implementation and expansion of 24/7 crisis services. This measure will become monthly during Fiscal Year 2024, once the selected vendor: Baltimore Crisis Response, Inc. (BCRI) implements services in October 2023. Measurement: # of literally homeless or at risk of homelessness placed in permanent housing or maintaining current housing. This performance measure occurred as a combination monthly total for the Garrett County Local Behavioral Health Authority in Fiscal Year 2023 (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2023) and an annual total for Fiscal Year 2023 (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2023) for the Garrett County Community Action, Inc. The combined total number served through Fiscal Year 2023 was 247.
