Friendsville’s National Library Week Art Show and Reception
Content
Plans are for an art show and reception to be held during National Library Week. The show would feature Jim Lawrence's photographs of Garrett County, a donation made to the Friendsville Library by his widow, Louise Lawrence. The Town would submit their Arbor Day poster entries, and Friendsville Elementary students would submit art projects featuring the Oak tree at Anchor Church. Workshops are being planned for February, March & April on highlighting various arts & crafts.  Our Friendsville Library Quilters ae going to offer free quilting lessons in April, workshops for adults may include a special watercolor project, crocheting.
